such as the Circus of the Emperor Domitian, later
a jousting and horse-racing arena, and then flooded
to be used as an artificial lake, where aristocrats sat
on gilded carriages throwing money in order to increase
popularity. On to the Spanish Steps and the Coliseum.
A visit to Circus Maximus and a coin toss at the
Fountain of Trevi and we will be ready for a delicious
Roman lunch!
