This will surely be a day full of diversity and splendour.
To the traveller who has travelled to Rome more than once
and would like to see another side of Rome apart from the
monuments and squares, we are offering you the opportunity
to see and experience the Castelli Romani. The Castelli
Romani is what the towns in the beautiful hills of Rome
are called for they offer a Rome that seems to have stood
still in time through original beauty and traditions!
Tivoli: the Landscape, the Art, the Beauty
After meeting at the boat, we will head towards Tivoli to
visit two of the most beautiful and antique villas from
the Roman Era, Hadrian's Villa & Villa d'Este.
The first was erected during the Roman Era by Emperor
Hadrian. Unquestionably picturesque, we can only dare
to imagine the original grandeur of this remarkable villa.
The second, Villa d'Este, was built during the 15th
century.
Astoundingly decorated with over 500 fountains with
some of the most beautiful gardens in all of Europe.
Its fascinating structure composed of terraces upon terraces
giving a sense of the "hanging gardens of Babylon".
After lunch, a lovely walk through the historical centre
of the town and a little shopping. We will then head towards
the port and call it a day.
